Sustainability in a cup of coffee

Sustainability starts from small daily gestures which, on a large scale, become essential to preserve our ecosystem from further damage and start a consistent environmental recovery.

For our company coffee machine, we have chosen to use 100% recyclable coffee cups, which are made of an innovative hybrid material partially delivering from a mixture of mineral salts of natural origin.

The analysis carried out on the carbon footprint of these hybrid glasses, corresponding to the amount of CO2 released into the environment during their life cycle, has shown a 40% reduction in emissions compared to traditional glasses. In our own small way, we have contributed with a reduction of 71 Kg of CO2 in 2022.

Furthermore, the coffee grounds weekly recovered from our coffee machine, as compliant with use as energy biomass, are intended to feed anaerobic digestion plants for the production of energy from biogas combustion.

Proud of our choices, we are always looking for new ideas to increase our contribution to a better environment.
