France - Mode&Maison factory outlet wears new colours
Located in Velizy-Villacoubay (France), the factory outlet “Mode&Maison”, with its 140 stores and 500 fashion brands, has been recently rejuvenated in order to offer to the almost 4 million visitors a year the best shopping experience of the “Ile-De-France” district. “Mode&Maison” belongs to the renowned Unibail-Rodamco Group, whose main philosophy is to keep its properties up with the fast-changing needs of a highly competitive market. The French group is continuously reinforcing the attractiveness of its many assets by upgrading their layout, renewing their tenant mix and enhancing their shopping experience through attractive marketing campaigns.
Working closely with the world's leading architects and designers to develop remarkable retail and business facilities all over Europe, the Unibail-Rodamco Group has chosen the best professional team to carry out the renovation plan of Villacoubay’s factory outlet. A brand new architectural interior and exterior look along with a wholly redesigned brand identity have been successfully combined with a new lighting concept in order to reach an absolute makeover. The renowned lighting designer Jean-Philippe Corrigou has been charged with the illumination scheme of the giant barcode structure of the façade, while Daniel Gloton has programmed the chosen fixtures. Starting at dusk, a dynamic colour changing scheme lights up the huge barcodes for five minutes every half an hour, conveying a lively colour touch to the whole façade. To do this, a total of 138 units of GRIVEN’s Parade S RGBW 40 with wide optics - supplied by GRIVEN's exclusive distributor for France, the company CSI - have been located at the base of the barcode structure by the installation company SOCOMELEC Industry.
PARADE S-RGBW-20 40 60 are modular and adjustable super flux, high luminance bars featuring RGBW LEDs grouped in clusters of 4 LEDs each. Superb output with real uniform colour coverage even on close-up installations is provided by the newly conceived elliptical and elliptical wide optics specifically designed for true wall washing effect. The powerful luminous flux tops the standard range of similar products available on the market. The combination of RGBW LEDs offers an unprecedented astonishing white light output quality, as well as a wider variety of intermediate colour hues for an even broader range of application purposes. PARADE S-RGBW can be installed in any position and in any orientation, featuring an IP67 weather protection along with a compact size and a light weight manageability. Moreover, a truly comfortable set up is guaranteed by the total absence of external power supply box requirement. The new generation digital control system, obtainable from any four-channel remote DMX512 control desk, includes also standalone functions and Master-Slave mode. PARADE S-RGBW is now available also in a newly dedicated release, the Polar Edition, featuring an integrated de-icing system with electrically heated glass, which assures a comfortable functioning even in the utmost severe cold weather conditions.
